Mouse Scroll is not zooming.

I feel like part of the QC team now, got another one for you.

Using logitech G500 laser mouse with a fancy no friction scroll wheel and there is no zoom whatsoever when i scroll.

Me either. I also can't "jump" or whatever it is, nothing on my mouse much works it seems. I'm literally stuck in the first little area because I can't get up on that ruler or the eraser.

Was really interested in this, but I'll be passing until it's fixed or less confusing.

You can't jump in level 1. You get the jumping skill in level 2.
You can get up on the eraser by pushing aside the paper clips. After that you can just walk (or whatever it is a water droplet does) up the eraser.

on topic: I have the most basic logitech mouse (M90) and zooming seem to work sometimes but not always. I'm not sure what's up with that.

I just picked this game up, and I am also unable to use my scroll wheel (MS Sidewinder Gaming) to zoom in or out. I assumed, because I couldn't navigate menus w/ my XBox 360 controller that controllers were not supported - I've since found that the controller works and the triggers control zooming. I wonder if you guys have controllers plugged in and the controllers are disabling mouse zoom.
