I think a good feature would being able to sync your steam account with your Facebook account, it would make it easier to get your friends interested in Steam, and let any friends that already have Steam find you.
It would add notifications to your Facebook wall saying if you ever bought a game, earn any achievements, or anything like that. Thoughts? |

NO. I HATE FACEBOOK.
Please, don't include this VALVE. Leave me alone with this Facebook nonsense. Just use an application like JediMastr80 posted. Just my opinion :P |

Don't mind as long as it is a) optional, and b) does not bring it's bad security issues to Steam.

I have it linked on my Facebook and you DO NOT have to type in the password. It's completely safe. I don't see any security issue if they follow the same way as the app that's there does. |

I suppose what your really want to ask is it necessary. Careful what you wish for in respect to any official mergers of application. As JediMastr80 pointed out there is already an app for that.

Shutup. You do not know what you are talking about. I never got any "malware" from there. actually, i got a friggin life on facebook to go out and do things rather than sitting around here and talking about video games

I hardly think that anyone on my Facebook friend list is interested in my game achievements, nor do I want to show them to them. Which is why I haven´t activated the Facebook connection to my Playstation Network account.

MAJOR Troll Alert.
Avoid at all Costs. Ah, some may surprise you. They may play the game and not tell you about it. |

In regards to "data mining", that's not FB that does that. That would be the 3rd party apps people "install" & give permission to access their data.
As for malware, nothing at all comes from FB either. It's all to do with the 3rd party apps there, not FB itself. |

Try http://www.facebook.com/SteamAchievements. It can post your achievements automatically as you earn them.
And we won't steal your information! |
