Thumbs up X-Men: First Class (prequel) official trailer out!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrbHykKUfTM
What do you guys think of it? Hopefully the movie will be better than X Men 3 and X Men Wolverine...though I don't think rebooting to a prequel was the right choice...should continue on from X3

If they keep on making sequels they would have to make King Arthur a freaking member of the X-Men

Honestly... It doesn't look interesting to me at all.
All the superhero movies and sequels/prequels/remakes/reboots have just... Burned me out. They all look the same to me now.

Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. I love the X-Men movies. The Wolverine movie might be one of the worst superhero movies ever made though so I was worried about it. Based on that trailer, this movie movie is going to kick mutant butt.

Of course, my opinion is based on a trailer so I will wait until I cast any furthur dispersions. I could be wrong.

That trailer didn't make it look very interesting.

But that's good... I'm sick of seeing entire movies in trailers to the point where you've already seen everything, including the best bits and the twists - I'm directing that at you Sunshine trailer!

Huh, it actually looks pretty good. A bit heavy on the CGI for my tastes, but given it's a superhero movie it's par for the course at least.

Best part, though? no Jean freakin' Grey! oh yes.

X-men 1+2 were excellent films...

The guy directing them turned into a fool, abandoned what should have been an amazing trilogy, went and made a mediocre Superman film and as a result, X-men 3 became a total pile of crap...Which paved the way for the even bigger pile of crap that was the Wolverine film.

They should let genuinely creative people make and direct these films and not just the people with the most amount of money.

X-Men: First Class Trailer Released!

X-Men: First Class YouTube Trailer Link

Take a trip back to the 1960s and catch a glimpse at the early days of Professor X, Magneto and all their students in the debut trailer for "X-Men: First Class," in theaters June 3!

Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN
. Written by Twentieth Century Fox - IMDB

Cast
Jennifer Lawrence
January Jones
James McAvoy
Rose Byrne <3
Nicholas Hoult
Michael Fassbender
Kevin Bacon
Zoë Kravitz
Jason Flemyng
Lucas Till
Oliver Platt
Morgan Lily
Edi Gathegi
Ray Wise
Bill Milner

---

Have to say, it looks awesome! Great cast lineup. Set in the cold war era (could be intresting to see how it plays out with the storyline). The other X-men films were really good, probably the best Marvel films in my opinion, and I don't think this one is going to disapoint

Apparently the new Wolverine movie is supposed to be a lot better.

Jackman heard the fan complaints that he wasn't stocky enough so he's already gained 30 or 40 lbs of muscle for the sequel and the new director said he wants to do Wolverine right this time.
