sub forums

Why is it that when I post something in the correct sub-forum, it never gets read and or commented on?

I mainly use the Team Fortress 2 forum so I follow the explicit instructions of where to put class related content, but when I use the correct sub-forum my thread gets completely ignored.

I would say it's one of a few things (and don't take these personally):

- Your post isn't that interesting to others
- You're not that clear in what your asking, or not actually asking anything in particular
- You're asking at less busy (in regard to forum activity which is often inversely proportionate to server activity) times, and so your post drops down the list when it does get busier, and therefore goes unnoticed to many
- You're asking about a subject or on a channel that is populated by fewer people, or less-responsive people
- You're just unlucky.

Again, take none of this personally. They're just the obvious things, and it's best to never overlook the obvious.

Except for extremely popular games/series most sub forums only see activity during a sale when people are either excited wanting to find out about the game, checking for problems before buying, posting problems afterwards if they didn't, posting to praise or diss a game. Once the excitement drains it can be hard to get any help on older games. But thats to be expected.

PS: When it comes to OT or General sometime your thread just doesn't interest anyone.
