He knifed you from the prone position. I agree that knifing from prone doesn't make any sense, is he going to kill you by stabbing your ankle?

That's nothing. I've seen some immense lunges today. One guy I thought had disappeared before my eyes, turns out in Theater he had instantly lunged to someone round a wall. The lunge is as terrible as ever.

I find it silly that people claim the "lunge is as terrible as ever".

The only thing you can claim is that it's occasionally glitchy - similar to stuff like facestabbing in TF2 (in TF2, Spy's backstab is instakill and should only work from behind, yet it occasionally works from any angle, thus "facestab").

I've seen some weird lunges but 95% of the time it doesn't do that.

In fact, 30% of the time even within distance, my lunge fails and misses because enemy either backtracked or sidestepped. On the other hand, once I'm in distance, my slashing never misses.

Lunge is definitely not overpowered if you are a decent player.

I once got killed by a guy who couldn't even see me on his screen. I'd strafed next to him and he still killed me.

Also have jumped over guys who knife me when I'm ABOVE them.

Seriously...hate the knife. Bring back the CoD4 one.
