Left 4 Dead Not Installing

I Uninstalled My Left For Dead, And now when i try to install it, at the preparing game files for install window, it gets to the end slowly then stops

20 mins later its still Frozen on the preparing game files for install. and if i click cancel steam crashes.

Anyone know the problem???

Do you have any programs running in the background?
Did you do it when the Steam servers were experiencing a lot of traffic?

no i havent submitted a problem ticket OwnMyToe

and i was useing windows media player in backround (also tried without anti-virus software off and media player off)

about average trafficing i guess

Tried a different download region in your Steam settings?

And one other thing i just reasantly downloaded freys steam filter could that be a cause of this problem ??

i've figured out the problem.

i was useing freys steam filter and it was set on bigpond, and i dont think that bigpond has lfd on there content server

after changing it to internode its now installing
