Question What EU Communities are still around? Making a list

Hey all, I'm doing some research into an ambitious idea I had for a community league. 20vs20 - I guess you could call it the Champions League of CS:S. However I realise the number of communities left standing is sadly dropping. I have interest from the communities I'm in contact with, but would be looking to talk about the idea with all the active European CS:S communities around I can find.

Would really appreciate if people could list active communities still around in CS:S and their websites. Could also serve as a reference thread for many other people to see who is still around as well as helping me with my research. Thanks!

ps. Mods please don't delete the thread as advertising! I don't think its specifically advertising any one community its just a way to find out who's still around. Which is in everyone's interest really. Don't delete meeeeeee :')

Yep, they have a few competitive teams and that 32 man server is still going strong.

Think you guys would be interested in competing in a relaxed community league? With a game every week or every fortnight? I know 20vs20 sounds crazy when you have first heard of it, but we've played many (playing one tomorrow) and they've always been positive and help bring the community together more. Also the scale of them makes them a little bit special as events.

Is there anyone else who can suggest some (decent sized) communities that are still active? new or old. I was hoping to find more I wasn't aware of by making this thread.

Example like this

Finnish
Pelipurkki - Pelipurkki.net

German
Berliner Fightclub - bfcclan.com

Denmark
[DK]RoyaL^ - clanroyal.dk/

Like I didn't know there were so many Spanish communities and servers now, that wasn't the case 3-4 years ago

They used to do them, the last one was two years ago against us (VIA) I believe. Don't think they've done one since, will speak to ph33r though if my idea goes ahead. Cheers

Let's bump this thread and get some big UK clans into some fun huge wars.

Enemydown.co.uk was also talking about a fun community cup/league along the same lines (Check the forums).

D-one, I'll hit u on friends and we'll get something sorted m8.

Any other big UK/Euro clans interested just post on our forums www.sdcsclan.co.uk or reply here
