I plan to release a minor update within 1 or 2 hours.

Then the version with the extra siege battles later in the day.

The version with the extra land battles included will come sometime after that.

Scripting is proving a pain in the ♥♥♥ for the battles.

And afaik mitch wanted to release a update today which allows you to fight every battle in the tutorial campaign. So one of the already available maps for every fight.

This needs bumping!

The clever man on twc has made a v2 of the mod and its great fun especially with no advisor and any choice you want to make(within the limitations on the demo), you also can build alot higher buildings than without the mod.

From what I read earlier he is looking at making custom battles and also a tool to set up your own custom battles, yay.

imho a thriving mod community is the key to the long life of any game. Shogun 2 is starting out very well

yeh apparently it should be as easy to mod as Napoleon, perhaps easier, there are some changes like to models that make things easier, others make things harder, but it looks great

I think one of the ideas he is going after is to sort of set up a series of different battles with different units on the campaign map that you can fight, before he can make a tool to choose
