Recieve TF2 Hat from Direct 2 Drive Pre-Order ?

I have pre-ordered from Direct 2 Drive, is the TF2 hat promotion applying to that as well for pre-ordering ? Or just Steam ?

What TF2 hat are you talking about? There is only a free Metro 2033 for pre-orders.

Ah, well anyway, I got the game for 39$ (Direct 2 Drive) instead of 50 euros (Steam). So I guess I can live without the hat

Hmm... It only popped up recently together with the drone. It wasn't there last week.

And yes, it is a Steam exclusive.

If you bought from D2D, you probably got it at a discount anyway.

If you preordered before the deal on steam, you will surely still get it. I just tested that.
