completely messed up graphics/missing textures???

Hey all, just bought this game on steam and the graphics are all a mess! i have everything maxed out in the settings (my 5870 1gb should be more than good enough to handle it), but in the battles section (waterloo & all the others) my infantry units are all on water!!(there is no land texture, just water!) In the campaign tutorial map Napoleon is just a shadow, there's no napoleon figure! what gives? i only buy TW games months after release (in this case over a year) due to the bugs, but why am i getting all these graphical errors? is it something in my settings? im using the latest catalyst drivers for my vid card, 11.2. Thanks in advance.


ETW works fine, just NTW is total mess graphics wise.

I have the exact same sort of problems in E:TW yet N:TW runs fine, heh
