***Companion Cube Confirmed for Portal 2***

It seems that our beloved Companion will make a more-than-cameo appearance in Portal 2, and with a new look to boot! It appears to be immune to lasers.

I'm somewhat surprised by this, considering that old memes weren't to be reused, but eh, what the heck. Who else will be down on their knees, begging it for forgiveness?

We've known since June of last year.

And the cube wasn't really a meme. It's a tool, essentiually a cube that you have to take with you to the end.

Rumor has it that some of the screens from the batch this image comes from were faked. This may not be accurate, especially given that it's been officially repeated several times that things like the cake and the cube wouldn't make any big returns in the game (outside of the dead WCC we saw in the very first trailer).

Granted, the reference in the trailer was just that: a reference. Seeing it in-game is pretty much a confirmation.

Two were fake. And they did say that the WCC would make a come back back on GTTV.
