Sick and Tired of BEX & BEX64 crashes... Assistance is needed really bad!

Okey now, I bought Crysis&Crysis Warhead bundle a few months ago to add to my archive and since the release of Crysis 2 is near, i wanted to play again...

But every time i change a setting and click on Apply it crashes...(BEX code for 32bit, BEX64 for 64bit version)

I did a 2 hour research on web(via Google ofc), tried every singe possible suggestion, did everything i could, updated my Windows,drivers...etc still no go!

My system specs;
i7 860@4.0Ghz
Asus P7P55D Pro Motherboard
Ati HD5870
8GB Ram
Corsair V128 SSD
Creative X-Fi Titanium
Corsair 850W PSU
Windows 7 64Bit
Every single driver and my OS is up-to-date...

I really want to enjoy Crysis once again, so i hope you could help me with a solution...

Yeap, i did... I tried turning of DEP, switching to 64bit and 32bit back, running as administrator, all compatibility modes, copying MSVCR80.dll from WinSxS to various folders,...etc everything i could find on web... Still no go...

Try clean booting windows and then running the game, see if something in the background is causing the problem. If that isn't the cause, try lowering your overclock settings, see if the game will run with stock settings/timings.

One other question, did you use driversweeper to remove the old video drivers before you updated to the new ones? If not, uninstall the drivers, use driversweeper to remove any traces of the video drivers and reinstall them.

It could be hardware issues. Have you tried running Prime95 in Blend mode? Memtest86? Furmark?

The problem is definetely Software related not Hardware...

@madef224, yes i did update the drivers after i cleaned all drivers related to ATI/AMD via Driversweeper(with latest version ofc)...

The thing is, this problem is all over the internet and there is no single solution to it by Crytek or EA... This is dissapointing tbh...

You're sure that the issue isn't hardware? Have you tested it?

BEX errors usually apply to buffer overflows which can be attributed to hardware.

Thats why I suggested lowering overclock settings.
