Connecting PS3 with Steam

Hello, i want to add a PS3 profile to my Steam account, as a friend. Is that possible?

I doubt it. Only 'steamworks' on ps3.

DRM, matchmaking, achievements, anti-cheat technology, in-game economy systems with microtransactions etc. is what steamworks is. Some games on the ps3 will be using that in the near future.

We don't know exactly how that is going to work yet OP. Yes, SteamLite as I call it is going to be on the PS3 with the coming of Portal 2 but we just don't know many Steam functions will be included yet or how they will work. They really need to be telling the PS3 players what going on this close to launch. Unfortunately Valve consistently gets a failing grade for communication skills despite claims by them that it's really important.

Valve never lets on until its very close to launching. Maybe its got something to do with the thief of half-life 2 them many years ago and don't like their competition knowing what valve has in store like they did with HL2.

Games wise I agree but the Steam portion is something entirely different from a game. It would be nice to see what it looks like and the functions it will have are.
