losing connection to steam when playing Crasher

When i play Crasher i cant start the ingame community with shift+tab. When i minimize the game i can see that im oggline(my avatar on the bottom right corner is gray). I have to click on my avatar on the right bottom corner to connect again. When i maximize the game soon or later i lost connection again(im offline but i want to be online and INGAME)! And i cant get proper playing time and i cant chat with my friends? Any sugestions? I have this problem with Mafia 2 btw? Where is the problem?
