Impossible de récupérer un mot de passe // Unable to retrieve password

Bonjour,

Voilà plusieurs heures que j'essaye de retrouver le mot de passe de mon compte. Je fais " mot de passe " oublié ensuite je saisie le nom de mon compte, je fais suivant.

Steam - travail en cours...
Je devrai recevoir un email de confirmation pour entrer le code de vérification et la question secrète. Là pas de soucis, ensuite il me demande de choisir un nouveau mot de passe. J'en choisis un nouveau,

Impossible de traiter votre requête.
Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement.

J'ai recommencé de nombreuses fois et sans succès...

I see, so you forgot your password, and you used the recover option to reset it.

However, you say that Steam seems to give you this error: "Unable to process your request. Please try again later."

It sounds like a network issue that will likely correct itself in time. Only if the problem persists for days is it likely that there could be a connection problem at your side.

It's good it's done I made a mistake on the matter secret. I finally get my account

This was not due to network error. Thank you for the help you've provided and your understanding.

Oh yes also
on behalf of my friend lost too are password and account name. Excluding the email address that used it was dissolved by the host how to please? i have cdkey

Hi!, I have the same problem!!, can you tell me about it?, because since one week I couldn´t use Steam and for "Use de online support"the only way that I have is "conected like a normal sesion", but It´s no possible.
Please, help me.

In this case, since he has:

1. Forgotten both the login username and the password.
2. Lost access to the email that was linked to the account.


He must contact Steam Support and provide some evidence of owning at least one game on the account. He can do this by providing:

1. A photo scan of the game's licence key (CD-Key) if he bought it from a street retailer or mail order.

2. Information from the payment method used to purchase it on the Steam online Store (Shop).

Contacting Steam Support is done by creating a separate account from your Steam gaming and forum accounts:

You must use a new and different username/password and primary email address for this account (keep them safe for the future, because this is how you will talk to Steam Support for any further problems).

You need to then login and create a new "ticket" on the website, explain what you want clearly and simply and then wait for a reply, which usually takes a few days.

Then login to your account again to read/reply to the message. Please do not make new tickets about the same issue, just add to the existing ticket.

Also, you can write your ticket in your own language to explain things more easily. Here is a list of languages Steam Support currently accepts:

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Russian, Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.
