Can't launch Left 4 Dead 2 because of "Failed creating D3D Device!"

Hey every1.

I just have a li'l problem with Left 4 Dead 2, when i want to launch the game it says "Failed creating D3D Device!", and just googled some problems like this and I updated drivers, I have last framework, I have DirectX11, checked dxdiag, I put -dxlvl 80/81... and still doesn't work. Could someone help me ?

My PC:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Graphic card: ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB DDR3
Processor: Intel Core i5-650 (3.20GHz)

Please, any help would be awsome, thanks.

Right, what is your Windows desktop screen resolution?

If you don't know, then you can find out by mouse over your desktop background and:
a) <Right-Click> >> [Catalyst Control Centre] >> [Graphics] >> [Display Properties]

b) <Right-Click> [Screen resolution] >> [Advanced Settings] >> [Monitor]
For example if it is 1280 x 768 @ 60Hz, then try the following:
  1. <Right--Click> the game(s) in the Steam Library

  2. Select [Properties]

  3. Select [Set Launch Options] and type:
    -w 1280 -h 768 -refresh 60
  4. Re-try running the game

(Replace the numbers suggested in the example with whatever is appropriate for you.)
