L4D2 - Custom Sounds - VAC ban?

Hello, I create an add-on with custom weapons sounds, when I play in single player is ok, but when I go and play online the weapons sounds are the originals, so I figure out that replacing the original sounds with the customs ones I can play with my new sounds in any game, online and single player, but my cuestion is this can give me a VAC ban? because i dont want to loose my game for this reason.

You cannot get VAC banned.

Also, the reason it doesn't work is because vpk's don't work in dedicated servers. Try hosting a lobby and make the server type "best available dedicated" or "local" and it'll work fine.

You can't get banned for this, although you might get KICKED from sv_pure servers. But I don't think sv_pure actually works in l4d(2) though so...

But you won't get banned.
