Steam Account problem!?
Hello.
Well, my steam account psycoo19931 was disabled? I am trying to guess why and I can not find any reason. Here is the text which shows up every time I' am logging in my steam account "There seems to have been an error logging into your steam account". If somebody could help me I would be grateful, for sure. I am looking forward to hearing from you with a resolution for this problem. Cheers. |

That doesn't sound like your account was disabled. Last I knew you recieve a very specific message if the account is disabled.
It sounds more like you have an issue on your computer/Internet connection or you've been hijacked. Perhaps an complete and accurate error message would shed some light? __________________ Nothing to see here |

Same problem had a ticket in since 5am this morning. Really getting jarateed off now. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...hp?p_faqid=368 Thats where the link goes. Also it happened after I restarted steam after I noticed I had a couple of games missing. So I figured it just needed an update. I guessed wrong. From the support FAQ pages:
Disabled Steam Account discusses possible reasons for the account being disabled. The forums can not help with account issues, the following is taken from the Sticky thread it was hoped you would read before posting: Sticky: Please Do NOT post account-specific problems Quote:

The response time varies according to the number of open support tickets submitted before yours and the quality of information in your ticket. How was it disabled for my protection? 2 games missing from my library sounds like there is a problem with steam itself, that isn't for my protection thats a "f" up some where. Never mind the fact that I have waited since 5am this morning to get a response from support. You have a paying customer and a patient one at that, yet you don't respond to them? In my eyes that's disrespectful and unreasonable. I've lost my trust in steam for controlling my games. Who is going to reimburse me for the MMO monthly fees I have to pay for not being able to play today? Not steam, not the game company. I'm ♥♥♥♥ out of luck and I guess "it's for my protection".

I do understand your frustration but will this really help your situation?
Until you contact support, you won't know the reason it was disabled. Please, just open a support ticket and be patient. Valve doesn't disable accounts willy-nilly. __________________ Nothing to see here |

I've had a support ticket open for the whole day as I've said 2 times in this one thread. 5am to 10pm a whole work day. I've updated it 5 hours later, 10am, then again a couple hours after that, went to work come home and still no response. Sent them a mean message maybe they will respond to an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rather than someone being polite.

That will not get a faster response. Please, read what I said in the thread directing you to support.
There are others in line that submitted their tickets before you. Sending flaming and multiple inquiries is not going to help and will only slow down the process for anyone needing support, including you. __________________ Nothing to see here |

i know that this is not a place for account specific info so i wont post that kind of thing here but the same thing happend to me yesterday. Just posting this here since i think that it is weird that 3 people have the same problem at the same day. If there is anyone else out there who has the same problem, it appears your not the only one. contact support and lets pray they can figure out whats wrong.
