Most video tweak commands removed

Tried the command line tweaks from the demo however they are removed in the retail version.

Is FOV adjustable still? That is really like a deal-breaker for me

FOV is a definitely needed one.. especially on a widescreen monitor

Well this sucks. Do you have any idea why they removed it or if it will come back? On a side note are you the same MaydaX from PBBans?

Yeah it is,i cant even count how many games i have where changing the FOV would help a lot!

What, we can't turn off motion blur? =S Motion blur always gives me a headache.

They actually enabled console ingame Dunno if it works, mind you.

cl_fov 360 seemed to be accepted.

If those CVARs ae being entered into an in game console, have you tried using con_restricted 0 first?

My guess is to make everyone play the same game settings like consoles.

It's bad and can't be disabled from what I can find. I just quit playing singleplayer after 5 minutes because it was giving me a splitting headache

They are entered on the startup line. con_restricted doesn't exist either.

How about toggle run and toggle ADS? Did they include those in the retail version?

Yes toggle ADS exists and work in retail. I never looked for run toggle.

Question about fov, whats the typical (or correct) fov to play on a 24 inch widescreen monitor?

they use vertical FOV in this gaem, so probably about 68-73 for you.
