Xcom Apocalypse and large Monitors

This game is one of my all time favorites and I still play it but now I have a 27" monitor and the game really does not do well on it. Is it possible to resize the screen in a window of some such?

Navigate to your Xcom Apocalypse Steam folder, usually C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\XCom Apocalypse, or if you have 64bit windows it might be under Program Files(x86) instead. Open dosbox.conf with a text editor, notepad will work, and set fullscreen to false.

Under the windowresolution=original section substitute original with a res such as 1024x768 or 1280x1024 and change output=surface to output=opengl.

I did this and it seems to be working. My screen is native to 1920x1024 and the game graphics just were not meant to run that high.

Thanks for the fix. Going to start another game and see how it works. Will let you know after i ahve run it a few hours
