Loading extreme slow

Hey everyone, steam version zombie driver works fine on my computer, i mean, as long as i make it to begin driving.

There's no lag when playing, just it took me like 5-10 minutes to launch the game from windows desktop to the game main menu, and another 5 minutes from the main menu to the story mode menu, and like another 5 minutes to begin the drive.

Even I push the esc button when playing it takes me several minutes to change my screen to the menu.I spent more time waiting then playing, i mean it's a fun game but i really don't want spend all my time waiting!

Anyone has a solution or a idea would be great, thank you.

Weird... I do not have that problem. What are your computer specs?

Something like this may be caused by other programs running in the background (web browser, anti virus software, etc.)
Have you tried restaring your system?
Loadings might be slow also when your PC is near minimum requirements, like for examle only 1GB of RAM memory.

Je n'avais pas mesurés mes FPS avant la modif mais ça ramait, aucun doute sur ce point.

Voilà comment j'ai réglé le problème chez moi :
- Lancer le jeu
- Une fois arrivé sur le menu de réglages ou le menu principal ou même dans le jeu, ouvrir le gestion des tâches (Ctrl+Alt+Suppr)
- Dans l'onglet "Processus", clic droit sur "ZombieDriver.exe *32" => "Définir la priorité" => "Haute"
- Retourner dans le jeu et jouer !

Je vous conseille de faire la manipulation sur le premier écran de réglages car cela booste énormément le temps de chargement du jeu !

J'espère que cette manip' fonctionnera chez vous !

Phenom x4 955 3,20Ghz
4Go de DDR3
ATI Radeon 4870 512 Mo
Windows 7 64bits

I didn't calculate my FPS before but I had the same problem than you....low frame rate !

Here is how I solve the problem on my machine :
- Launche the game
- Arrived on the customizong screen or the main menu screen or in the game, launch the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Suppr)
- In page "Processus", right clic on "ZombieDriver.exe *32" => "Define the priority" => "High"
- Go back into the game and play !

It's better to do that on the first customizong screen because it increases the loading speed of the game !
