Left for dead = Hackers.

This used to be my favorite game now so many hackers have killed the game. I seen a guy today with 1533 hrs and 100% accuracy when i seen his stats and was on a uzi and steam says they catch peoples hacks that many hrs never caught what a joke.Steam try to do better i have left for dead 2 but 1 was my favorite.I really do not like number 2.This person with uber hacks his name is just a period or a white dot.I reported him but he still is on everyday. That is just one example. have a good day everyone.

its easy to have 100% accuracy when you kill multiple commons at a time. I haven't seen any cheaters at all.

What some other gameing sites have is admin join random lobbies to check for hackers this is something steam could do as well.

thos are just the veterans on l4d1 they have stayed with the game threw thick and thin and they have earn that lvl of skill. its not hacks its just they have way more practice then you do. maybe you can set up a group of people who have about the same amount of skill lvl as you do, so that the teams are evened in skill

Someone with over a thousand hours of play time is no hacker. Know that.
No player with that much play time (like me) bothers with a damn hack. They don't need it!

No legit player hangs around with L4D to mass that amount of hours and still uses hacks. Hackers in L4D1 will have much less play hours.

I have spoken!

1. The stats are screwed up - some of them always say 100% accurate or "20000 kills with 18000 shots fired using the SMG". Don't count on the weapon-stats
2. Most people in this game are either totally new or vets. Assuming from you complain, I would say you're the former while your enemy team had at least one vet (which can pull of some really wicked moves). Espically those with more than 500 hours are most likely a vet.

So, all your "hackers" are none.

lucky you, I stoped playing L4D after I encountered at least one hacker every 4-5 games.

hacks I encountered:
- speedhacks
- S.I. no sound hacks
- not getting barfed hacks combined with no-boomer-explode-push-back
- invincible hack
- wallhack aka see S.I. silhouettes even when they are in spawn mode

we even played competitively in esl, but stopped playing there after 3 of our matches were gone, because the teams we played against were caught hacking. and you can't really play competitively if you can't even tell if someone is hacking or not.

No. 1 is simply called "wait with spawning" and in case of Hunter, it's also called "staying up instead of crouching"
No. 2 is called "too much distance" combinated with "too much distance on explode" or "blocked by CI"

But yeah, everyone is a hacker in this game - even it's just a normal gameplay-mechanic or sometimes a bug Valve never bothered to fix or was unable to, which causes those things to happen (in like 99.99% of all cases).

Funny, I knew someone would post stuff like this.

No. 1: As long as I remember boomers do sounds when they are spawned. Too damn funny that we had matches where none of my team-mates heard a boomer even if he dropped of a roof and landed right in front of us. Same match, no hunter scream even while he was pouncing, no smoker cough's even while he was pulling us.

No. 2: Same match, my buddy is a boomer. NM3, we incapped zoey near the saferoom right where the ambulance car stands, my buddy ran up to the zoey, scratched her two times -> francis comes around the corner and stands right next to my buddy...he shots, no pushback and no barf. Neither Francis nor the incapped zoey got barfed.

Too much distance eh?

It really jaratees me off that I forgot to render the replay as .avi, but sadly a later patch broke the replay.
