Lego Star Wars 3 crashing at specific point

Hello. I recently bought Lego Star Wars 3 and have found that it crashes at a certain point in a certain level every time. Well 2 times so far, to be specific; but it is right at the end of the level so I don't want to have to play through it again.

It is one of the 2nd levels you can play, called "Duel of the Droids" and both times it has happened, it has been at the boss fight against General Grievious where the game will freeze requiring me to CTRL+ALT+DEL. There is no information given in the error messege, and all the other levels I have played (completed the first chapter) work fine. It is just at this exact point

I also have an issue with it crashing at a "specific point." In one of the battle scenes, every time I destroy two of the blue tanks, it crashes, without fail.

Because destroying tanks is a path to getting a minikit, I can't get to 100% with this issue.

It's annoying.
