A question about the UK release date.

I live in the UK and on the STEAM store page for Portal 2 it says "Available: 19 April 2011", however on the Amazon UK Portal 2 page it says "This item will be released on April 21, 2011."
I was convinced that I'd have to wait until 21st to play the game, but since I've pre-ordered Portal 2 on STEAM, will I be able to play it on 19th? Hopefully I'm right and it's not just displaying the NA release date, could anyone confirm this?
Oh... and does anyone know if Valve are planning to let us pre-load the game?

It releases April 19th Worldwide on steam. So yes, you will be able to play once Valve hits the "unlock" button that day. (It could be late into the day your time by the time they do however)

Release date on steam is the 19th, and it is a worldwide release at the same time.

Im sure valve will give us pre-loads, it doesn't make sense to let their servers melt on the 19th, but it has not been confirmed by valve.

Thanks for the confirmation, I'm really excited about this game! Probably could have found the answers to my questions by searching the forums, but it's not a major problem, right? :P I will do next time I have a question.

I've been wondering this as well because all the adverts on youtube etc say the 21st.

But I'm confident that since Steam still says the 19th that we'll be able to play it then.
