Your reso and fps?
I found that dropping my resolution to 1280x1024 and having most of my settings on 'high' where im able to get 80-100fps i feel i can play quite a bit more competitively than having my reso at native 1920x1080 with lower 50-60fps.
I have an acer gd235hz and for some reason native reso looks alot more clear and sharp than any other reso you set it at. For me this isnt that big of a deal having a more mugly image because lowering the reso seems to widen everything and make people slightly easier to hit. Just saying. |

1920x1200 with a Q6600 @ 3.4GHz and GTX 285 runs extreme pretty well. Havent used fraps but Id guess its above 40.
my Envy 15 with an Arrandale dual and 5850 gets around 30 fps on high at 1366x768. you should be using a widescreen 16:9 aspect res like 1366x768, 1280x1024 is meant for more square displays. |

1366x768? HA you will lose fps using a stupid resolution like that. It's always good to go average size. I understand you like the eye candy but you wanna be able to move fast dude.

And why is that resolution stupid anyway? It's just a 16x9 aspect ratio is all, and if you have a 16x9 monitor you need a 16x9 resolution or everything gets stretched out. Even if it does cost you FPS, which I don't see how it would, it's better to have a lower FPS than play through the whole game shooting a bunch of short fat people... |

Res is 1920x1080 and I get a solid 61fps.
This is with a custom autoexe as well. Same fps in multiplayer on very high at 1920x1080. |

i5 750 @ 3,9 GHz (overclocked)
5770 1 GB Running high settings with about 50-60 fps on 1680x1050 If I lower the res to 1280x800 I get about 80 fps which is very comfortable to play with Shame you can't lower some more settings manually in MP though!

1366x768 has the same number of pixels as 1280x1024. Its about picking the right res for your aspect ratio.
