GTA SA: Only sound in intro movies

It's no a major problem but it bugs me a little, when I start GTA SA (Windows 7 64 bit) the intro movies, with Rockstar logo and opening credits, appear to have only sound, the screen is black the whole time. Yet, when I immediately run the task manager after starting the game and come back to GTA SA the picture is miraculously there. It's not like I want to watch it every time I play SA but still, I'm curious what's the cause of this.

I'm having same problem...guess I just have to watch it in Youtube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTB6eEHCAko) then delete the file.

Yeah I have the same problem.

Find gta-sa.exe, right click on it and go to Properties, click on the Compatibility tab and then check the box next to Run in 256 colors.

Upside: The game now works as you'd expect it to.
Downside: Your display may do some funky mode-switching before the game launches.
