Gamepad use?

Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone would like to share what type of Gamepad they might be using with Beat Hazard?

I've only got Gamepad Pro to use, and it doesn't have the "thumb stick" controls.. so I can't configure it for use with BH.

Thanks for sharing!

I've tried to game BH with the Playstation controller. But I couldnt totally get it to work. (I could only move the ship left/right/up/down (whereever on the screen to get to), but I couldnt turn it arround somehow.

I use the xbox controller for windows. It works like a charm, I can deffinetly recommend buying if you can find one cheap (€24,- is what I bought mine for). I actually bought it especially for Beat Hazard, never even regretted it once. It's also very nice for playing games such as Assasins Creed.

This.

Also good for Bioshock and Prince of Persia.

If you're looking for a gamepad, I recommend buying an Xbox 360 controller. If you're looking for the lowest prices on them I would recommend looking on Amazon and Ebay.

Amazon is where I got mine as well. If you live in Europe, get it at Amazon.co.uk. It's free shipping to almost all of the EU countries.

I'm also an xbox 360 gamepad user. Very responsive and comfortable to hold.

I'm using a Logitech Dual Action gamepad. Beat Hazard used to only support the Xbox 360 gamepad but the awesome developer added support for other gamepads. You should give yours a try, although without dual analog sticks you might not get very far.

I use the Xbox controller. I think it works better than the mouse personally. If you are interested in seeing how well it works you can check my youtube videos. Same user name, only BH vids. All using the Xbox controller.

Afterglow Xbox controller set on Active (lights when it vibrates). Made of epic win on this game and Audiosurf Ninja Mono.
