Garrys Mod problem

When i go on singleplayer or multiplayer i want to remove NPCs limit, but when i write in console sbox_maxnpcs 999 it says unknown command sbox_maxnpcs 999 and when i write every sbox_ command it says unknown command. What should i do?

make sure you're in sandbox mode

There is really something wrong with Gmod when you create multiplayer server in game.
console doesn't regonice any Sbox_(something) command and noclip isn't working and ent_create etc...

It's a problem I am also having.
And I do go into sandbox mode in multiplayer, but still can't spawn anything.

Valve, please fix this problem.

it seems if you reinstall the game after the latest update you get this problem. really cool now i can't play the damn game i paid for.
