Chapter 5: Does listening to Glados do anything? *Spoiler*

When the blue bot (sorry forget name) comes through the wall to help you escape during one of the last tests, and then glados gives you a light bridge to finish the last test... does going to the test w/ glados instead of the blue bot actually work?
