He probably just doesn't understand false positives from his anti-virus. It happens. Steam would not likely release virus, would it? By the way, topic hi-jack! How's this game? Like Amnesia? It looks interesting.

Yeah, sure it has, or maybe youre just a troll, or you have a piece of ♥♥♥♥ AV and fail to realise this.
Also judging from the post that you cant even find the virus vault, I wouldnt really put much weight into your statements. |

The game does not have a virus. This user is using AVG which has a history of false positives. I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials and scanned it. The game is clean. I'm sure others are running differing virus software and can state the same. The OP is just confused.

AVG just loves finding false positive in game .exes these days. It swore left, right, and upside down the first time I installed Crysis 2 that its .exe was a virus. (Note to self: really need to switch to MSE or something. This is getting old.)
This game absolutely, positively does not have a virus. I'd stake my Steam library on it. @Brain_Explodes - it's definitely less scary than Amnesia...but still very good! And also still managed to scare the living daylights out of me more than once. One of my favorite games of all time, actually. (I've got physical copies of the Director's Cut and the original version around here somewhere.) Unlike Amnesia it's not free-roaming--it's point and click between nodes. You have the ability to look 360 degrees around you, though. I'd recommend the game to anybody who likes adventure games or H.P. Lovecraft. Or both. |

This is without question a false positive. Just in case you're still wondering, that executable was recently compiled on a clean virtual machine with barely any applications and no network
