Yes, it's awesome! And you can definitely trust me to say so, since I am one of the developers of the game...

For a more objective view, let me tell you that Swords & Soldiers got an 8.4 on metacritic. That was the Wii version, and Steam has an enhanced version (online multiplayer, HD graphics, longer soundtrack). So at least the critics think its awesome!

As for whether it is worth the money: it features three single player campaigns, skirmish against AI, online multiplayer, and challenge modes for online highscores. Quite a lot of content for the price!

Yeah, this game is good, too bad there aren't many people playing online at the moment, but it's still fun as hell!

This game is awesome! It has beautiful 2D graphics, very nice gameplay and a pretty fun multiplayer system despite not having too many people online nowadays, it's still great! Plus, there aren't many games of this style available for PC, so I'd totally recommend you buy it

If you liked Plants VS Zombies like I did this game will seem sorta similar but it's soooo slow even on the fastest game speed it takes forever to finish a level. It's got great graphics and decent gameplay but I would say stick to Plants VS Zombies unless you like mind numbingly slow levels.

The PC version has mouse controls and Steam integration (Steam achievements and friend invite), while the PS3 has splitscreen and stereoscopic 3D. For the rest these two versions are exactly identical.
