Xbox Custom Maps

So there was talk that valve would be introducing custom levels into all of the platforms for portal 2. Is this true because i have not seen much on it yet. Also if it is true can someone explain how you can do this on the xbox version? Thank you.

PS3 will get custom maps via Steam. The 360 on the other hand will get it as a DLC from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Yes, the xbox will get custom maps as DLC, but you guys are more likely to pay for them. If you remember, Valve and MS had a battle for the Last Stand DLC to be free, and they also wanted to put custom campaigns but Xbox players had to pay for them, valve said no. But if any Portal 2 maps are released, it is more likely for you to pay for them

valve is making a puzzle creator, if this were to be released on 360 it would solve the DLC issue (but then there is hardware issues of course)

If you want custom maps, Play PC, which is really the way it was meant to be experienced.

not everyone can run Portal 2, also many of our friends play consoles.

Whlie its a fact that the PC version is the way to go, the PS3 version, is also great due to cross platfroming and steam
