Lego Stay Wars Saga Total System Reboot on Start

Anyone else have their entire system reboot when trying to run this? It has never run successfully and I have reinstalled it 2 times. To test it I took my wife's physical copy and installed it. That worked fine. Only the steam version crashes instantly. Tried to run it without starting steam first. Instant hard reboot. I did some searching on the net but I can't find anything about it. The crash is so fast logs don't even get created from what I can tell.

Specs 920i7
Windows XP and Windows 7 duelboot(doesn't work in either one)
4 gigs
ATI 5850

All drivers updated.

Unhappy

Hi Malanthrax,

Exactly the same for me. I launch the game, the mouse cursor changes to a bigger cursor and my computer reboots right there.
I purchased the game a few days ago and never was able to play.
I run at least 6-7 Steam games without any troubles right now.

I have checked Lego's files for integrity, updated my drivers to the latest ATI files, updated directX, etc.

I run XP Pro 32 bits.
CPU = Core 2 Duo 3Ghz
RAM = 4 Gb
ATI 3870 X2 (1Gb)

Hope someone can help us resolve this issue.

Hi malanthrax,

If you are still interested I wanted to let you know that I have submitted the following to Steam Support.
Regards,
Steve
---------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

I purchased LEGO Star Wars the Complete Saga a few days ago.
I launch the game, the screen turns black, mouse cursor changes to game resolution and then my computer reboots. I found another Steam user with the same problem on your forums. No one has answered our plea yet.

I would certainly appreciate some help with this issue. I have done all the basic troubleshooting. I currently have 6 other Steam games installed, they all launch fine. My computer is dedicated to gaming. I have installed MS SDK to get a reading of the minidump created by the crash. Seems it has to do with a video driver file (ati3duag.dll). I have reinstalled the drivers completely.

Please check my minidump file on your forum at :
http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1857978
or see attached TXT (Dump_LEGO.txt).

Attached is my msinfo report.

Hope Steam support can help us resove this issue quickly.

Best Regards,
Steve Chenier
