Non-solid brush entity?
This is a stupid question, I've just completely forgotten the answer.
I created an invisible func_button, but I don't want players to collide with it. How do I achieve this? Sorry if this is extremely obvious, but I can't find the answer via a Google search or on the VDC (and I have tried). Thanks. |

Come on, this must be simple, right? Don't tell me it isn't possible, I'm sure it is

Func_Buttons aren't collidable anyway are they?
If it was a func_brush I'd make sure it was set to non-solid BSP, but there isn't any options for func_button regarding solidity, I don't think they are solid. You did test this?

They're definitely solid.

Thanks for the ideas. After a bit of experimenting I found that parenting it to the prop it was covering seemed to work. Thanks anyway!

Hm if you need it to be invisible, a non-solid brush covered in nodraw that generates an output on +use would be easier than using a func_button surely?
