A visual guide for identifying gun parts.

I've created a guide to help with hard to identify gun parts. I figure after the latest Steam sale there are probably a few new palyers who could benefit. Hope this helps.

The Part Spotters Guide

Awesome guide. I really like the close-ups of the confusing parts as the chart on the wiki page only helps so much.

Can't wait for the sniper and rocket launcher portions (even though they're easier to distinguish).

Hmm... I wish I could reprogram how the game shows rarity-colors when loot is strewn across the ground so that it is based on how much better it is than anything in my inventory.

I'd settle for a better compare system. As it is now, you have to have the item equipped to compare which is ok if you're just looking for a better version of what you have but bad if it's something you're not sure about compared to your inventory.

Nice work, favorited. I mod my weapons on occasion so this can help get the visual effects I want.

Or even just some way to order weapons by the timestamp of when you first picked them up, so that the "new" ones are at the top.

Amazing job, thank you. I can't imagine it could be more complete.

One thing that still confuses me is that are there guns that have more stats than can be displayed? And I'm currently googling the heck out of this, been awhile.

Elemental flavor text ("Highly effective against shields," etc) and special-weapon red text can both displace stats from the gun card. Beyond that, weapons do have stats that don't appear on the card at all. Play around with gearcalc-- it's pretty accurate.

Fantastic guide, but try to host your images in Imgur, instead of Photobucket...
