Anyone know games similar to Braid
Loved Braid, but now I just want more lol. I'm very much into puzzle platformers like Braid and Limbo. Any suggestions for games on Steam that are similar?

Try Portal, it's an FPS but still feels just as unique...

The Misadvetures of P.B. Winterbottom is very similar and just as great as Braid. In some respects Winterbottom is superior to Braid, like the music, and the storyline. Also the challenges in Winterbottom are a more intuitive.

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is indeed somewhat comparable and a game I'd warmly recommend. I wouldn't call the music or storyline superior to Braid though.

Limbo is one of my favourite games from 2010... really bummed I can't get it on Steam, transitioning from xbox to PC.
I have yet to find a puzzle platformer that was able to create the atmosphere those two games created. BUT if you're looking for a puzzle platformer just for brain-meltingly fun times: - Winterbottom - Toki Tori. I haven't tried these but they look like they have potential: - CreaVures - Night Sky AND FINALLY, I haven't tried these games, so I don't know how puzzley they are... but it is a platformer and the atmosphere looks amazing. Check the trailers for: - Trine - Trine 2 |

I have only found three other games in the same league as Braid:
(1) Portal (2) Portal 2 (3) Limbo These are all three superb. "Winterbottom", which some people recommended here, is far inferior to these, although it's the same general idea. Machinarium is a good game as well. I've been looking around for months for decent games, but nothing is close. There are a huge number of mediocre games, or sloppily executed ones, but I haven't found any really good ones. It's quite disappointing. |

As others have stated, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is also an excelent time-manipulation puzzle platformer with plenty of interesting mechanics and differs greately from Braid.
It also has very distinctive art style and music. Recommended. Trine, on the other hand, is more plataformer than actual puzzler and there's some huge imbalances between the characters and its very VERY easy. however, the graphics and settings are beautiful and its a enjoyable game nevertheless. Recommended if on sale |
