Well, it's the U2.5 engine heavily modded, right? Not so bad...

[reads specs]

WTF? is this 2007?

nailed it. rep+

I will say that this game SHOULD be relatively bug-free, considering that the U2.5 engine is mature, if not cOLD.

I expected them to be a lot higher But after all, UE2.5 is pretty neat in its requirements.

Why are you posting in the thread for a game you don't care about

I think you're confusing UE2.5 and UE3. UE3 is still being developed and is the one they showed recently with the fancy new effects.

Aye. Then again what I've seen from it looks pretty awful graphic-wise.

My Nvidia 8800GT is still hanging in there. I wonder if this port(excuse me multi-platfrom game)is going to stream textures like all good little console games or load everything like a real PC game should?

Are you sure the link is legit? Most of the time game developers recommend 1 more gig of memory over XP for vista and windows 7.

Normally, if they say 2 gigs of memory for XP, the developers recommend 3 gigs for vista and 7. But in those specs, they say the same amount of memory for all 3 operating systems.

* OS: Windows XP/Vista/7
* Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 Ghz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 @ 2.6 Ghz
* Memory: 2 Gb
* Hard Drive: 10 Gb free
* Video Memory: 512 MB
* ]Video Card: nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS / ATI Radeon HD 3850
* Sound Card: DirectX Compatible
And they recommend only a 512 meg video card? Hummmm.

Isn't it the UE3 engine? Made for consoles or not the engine isn't really demanding anymore unless they improve it a lot.

Yeah, Gearboxity.com is official. It's accurate, unless they're not being serious.

Duke Nukem & Memory? All he needs to remember is how to pull the trigger.

Unreal started off as a PC game, and not for consoles.

So no, the Unreal engine was not originally designed for consoles. It might be used in a lot of console games today, but that is not how it started out.

The official gearbox software site is http://www.gearboxsoftware.com/

That is why I asked the question.
