Forcing Anti-Aliasing through Catalyst!

Well something I found rather disturbing was the lack of AA and advanced graphics options.. Unless it's there and just hidden within whatever those sliders are doing... ANYWAYS, forcing them through Catalyst Control Center works good enough.
Though I found putting things over 4x didn't yield any improvements and only effected performance.

So try this.

Anti-Aliasing - 4X
(No Morphological Filtering, for me it makes text in steam overlay blurry and stupid looking.. Along with other little things)

Anisotropic Filtering - 4X

Tesselation - 4x

Texture Filtering Quality - Quality
Enable Surface Format Optimization - Checked

Wait For Vertical Refresh - Off Unless App Specifies

Anti-Aliasing Mode - Adaptive Multi-Sample AA

Triple Buffer - Enabled

Setting the graphics any higher than that did nothing but make the game run slower to my eyes.. I compaired screenshots using settings from lowest to highest.. I get 60+ fps constant with these.

I have a AMD 6950 2GB graphics card with an AMD X6 @ 3.6ghz.

If any of these settings can be improved on or some do nothing in this game please feel free to educate me and everyone reading.

THANKS.

The only time I really notice the lack of AA is when i'm in the loadout screen. Ingame, it's much less noticable. on 1920x1080, that is.

Does forcing tesselation do anything? Does the game support it? I doubt that.

I doubt tess would effect anything also.
As I believe that requires DX11 right?

And I dunno I really notice it on 1680x1050.
(My favorite res to date for FPS games and my distance)

I hate it when it's not crisp..

Yea' mon, looks very slick now.
Boggles me why the devs wouldn't want people to experience that right off the bat, it would only increase PC sales. Ha...

Great shots though.

It should be in the nvidia control panel. Though I know for some games (darksiders) even when you forced it in the control panel ingame there was no change. I´ll be taking a look myself tonight when I get home from work, since the lack of AA seems to make a pretty big difference in this game.

Yea in control pannel tell it to force AA. Then in the AA field you can select whatever you want.

Hope this game gets ported to directX10 or 11. Then we can have native AA like with the free game Global agenda (free mmo available on steam)

If you force AA it really takes a lot of GPU power. You may experience some serious lag, or crashes.

Turn off the Vsync, and dont use triple buffering if you get performance issues.
