GFWL ruined this game for me
Section 8: Prejudice is a great game. I really enjoy playing it, but I keep getting disconnected from GFWL every 15 minutes.
I try to go onto GFWL forums for help, but their stupid forums do not let me post because I don't have a gamer tag (which I do), then sends me to xbox.com, which offers no help. I've forwarded all GFWL ports in my router. my UPNP is available and in use. my NAT: open. I've read countless of posts regarding general GFWL disconnecting issues. Any help will be appreciated. I understand this is not a GFWL forum, but since I can't post there, this is a last resort. |

I myself haven't had an issue with that, you could try the official Section 8 forums

Xbox 360 players get the same issues (I know, I'm one of them) and it nearly always is an issue with your router - but alas sometimes it is not fixable.
I have an old SMC Barricade. I get disconnects from Xbox Live/Game For Windows every 15 to 45 mins on it. Never been able to resolve. And I'm a pretty decent techie. I have the UK Orange Netgear. Works fine with XBL/GFWL - but absolutely refuses to work with some PC in game browsers (BF2/HomeFront). It is a "known firmware" issue which Netgear are not fixing. I guess what I'm saying here is... GFWL isn't the "only issue", its the combination. |
