I know this is a PC forum, but I would expect more from the majority of you to just assume that all console based games are bad.

I mean, isn't that how most of you separate yourselves from the console kiddies on the fact that you actually try a game before you hate it?

Halo is a decent game and I never dislike playing it.

It's Latin.

My guess is "with courage, to space" or something like that.

And when I say guess, I looked at an online translator and massaged the results until they turned into an English phrase.

The common phrase "per aspera ad astra" means "through hardship, the stars"

Audacia is the Latin root word for the English word "audacity," meaning boldness, so substitute that for hardship and you've got the translation. My guess, they're alluding to becoming independent from Microsoft or some such.

The only thing that seperates console kiddies from PC kiddies, is a PC and a console.

If you're equating yourself to some of the gutter tripe on Xbox live, I feel dirty even talking to you

Which is why it's a plausible thing to reference when announcing a new ip or a Marathon update. Something like, "we have the audacity to break with Microsoft and make a scifi shooter/space-based game that isn't Halo."

Nope. I grew up at a time where there were only consoles and to play a game on a computer, you had to insert ten floppys into it. I stand by my opinion.
