I'm hoping that the Steam version pre-order will include the Karkand expansion pack because I have become fond of having all my games in one place on steam without having to worry about discs, and can install them elsewhere without any issues.

Worst case scenario, you'll be buying the expansion pack (DLC) after.

This kind of stuff just makes me sad. They should worry about the actual damn game right now. Worry about the extra content after the game is shipped.

If we're paying 59.99 on PC, retail or steam, we better get free map packs like we did with bc2.

Unless EA decides to pull another Dragon Age II Steam pre order. They didn't put the game on Steam until after the Black Edition expired. ing s.
