New PC Problem
Hey, I recently purchased an Asus P8P67 LE motherboard for a new PC build, the build went perfectly but when i went to boot it up is when the problems started.
When it powers up, a red dram led lights up and then after about 3 seconds the PC starts rebooting over and over (each time with this led lighting up). When the RAM is taken out it boots up fine but it doesn't keep rebooting (the led is still on continuously and i have no visual on the monitor). I researched the problem and it seems pretty common, there were a few solutions that worked for other people but I haven't had the same luck (including holding down the MemOK button and resetting the CMOS). SPECS: Asus P8P67 LE Intel Core i7 2600 3.4GHz GEIL 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Nvidia GTX 560 Ti Coolermaster 700W PSU If you have any ideas on how to solve this problem i would be greatly appreciative. |

How would i go about that? I can't boot the PC at all as it just continuously reboots 3 seconds after power on (I also have no visual on the monitor when ram isn't inserted), is there a work around?

Basically my PC would power cycle for a couple of minutes but eventually it would stabilize to a useable state, that's when I updated my bios as soon as possible.
I believe its the problem with ram voltage but I could very well be wrong. |

Try resseting the CMOS. Take the on board battery out of the mobo 10 min and then try again, pres delete and get in the BIOS. Press F5 and then F10

I did hear that RAM voltages could be a problem, i'll let it cycle for a bit and see if it decides to boot.
