Portal 2 Authoring Tools - Bugs & Issues

PORTAL 2 AUTHORING TOOLS - BETA BUGS & ISSUES

Main Authoring Tools
  • Unable to load Portal 2 Authoring Tools - Beta. (seems only to happen to XP users)

  • After compileing Portal 2 starts, loads for a few seconds and just closes.
  • After comepileing and encountering the above issue the 3D view turns black.
  • Camera perspectives turn black and require reloading the vmf.
  • Freelook mode in 3D perspective randomly get's stuck and disables Z.

i`ll update this everytime i or someone else finds something new.
And ofcourse add links to fixes (if found).

Unable to load seems to happen only on XP. Can anyone confirm this?

yupp. Alot of friends that are haveing this problem are useing xp.

Also the XP bug should be fixed now, so you can leave this to die.
