High graphics requirements...

The requirements to play this game on Ultra and even High must be insane. I've never struggled to play a game on the highest settings with a decent frame-rate before (at 1920x1080).

Q8200 @ 2.33ghz
4GB RAM
GTX 460

I can't get more than 30fps on Medium settings, which is a shame. It looks gorgeous though.

Thought I'd post so others may get an idea of how their system will run it. Any tips on how to get better FPS would be appreciated.

AMD Athlon X2 64 5600+ 3GB ram
GF 9600 gt 512
W7 64

Settings: High
1280x1024
20 (stress) - 26 (normal) fps

If you want more fps you can turn off in advanced options Special blur effect and indepth sharpness almost no effect on look and increase performance.

Intel Core i7 920 @ 4 GHz
6 GB RAM
Win 7 64-bit
HD 5770 x 2 running at 1920 x 1080

(Note I've noticed turning off Crossfire makes no difference so it's not supported and only running on one card anyway)

FPS: 30-45
Settings set to High + these settings lowered:
Shadow Quality: Medium
Number of Shadowed Lights: Medium
Anti-Aliasing: Disabled
SSAO: Disabled
Increased Texture Memory Size setting to Large

AA and SSAO off made a good difference (was 20-30 fps before that)
Haven't played more with shadows to see if it makes much of a difference to increase to High.

It's very playable at 30-45 fps. No stuttering whatsoever.

I'm hoping crossfire support will make it over 60fps and I may turn SSAO on and shadows up then.

I am still waiting for it to download - have you tried forcing it through another profile using Radeon Pro? I will try it in 3 hours and 5 minutes!

Nope I don't tinker with that. Hoping for official support soon though. Let me know how you go though I could be tempted to do the same

System:-
i5 2500k@4.3Ghz
4Gb DDR3-1600
GTX460 768Mb 800/2100 OC with 270.61 drivers

Settings:-
High with the following changes.
Shadow Quality: Medium
Num of Shadowed Lights: Medium
Anti-aliasing: Disabled
Vignette: Disabled
Decals: Medium spec

Resolution: 1680x1050

Framerate 40-55fps depending if I'm indoors or outdoors.

I'm very happy with the perforamce and the game looks excellent, I'm playing it with a PS3 dualshock 3 controller which to me just feels better than mouse and keyboard.

Ultra and ubersampling settings are not meant to be played with the actual hardware. This is just for turure hardware or take very nice screenshots.

The game on High looks already stunning.

OP here; what should I be looking at playing this on, Medium or High?

I'm getting terrible performance regardless of settings, so I'm hoping that new driver will be released soon and I'll at 'least be able to play on Medium.

mine:
i7 920
gtx 460

everything on, ubersampling, cinematic depth of field, blur and ssao off.

the game is 60+ fps constantly. i have to use vysnc to keep it from going above 75

i'm using the nvidia betadriver.

this is the smoothest and most beautiful looking game i've ever played. hope you get your problems sorted out.

Dammit guys, you're lucky! What could be the source of the low performance I have then...is it the CPU?

I'm literally getting below 20 FPS indoors. Not good.

Forum chatter says the Nvidia 275.27 drivers are giving good fps boosts. But others saying no change. Cant hurt to try the new drivers.
