Shortswords

Can you please let me attack upwards with them?
Without being able to do that the only thing they seem very good at killing is zombies.

they kind of remind me of daggers from Symphony of the Night. Fun and effective for spam attacking, but anything above or below you is a problem.

I know what you mean, broadswords are better because of their wide attack range. Although i wish it auto swings like the pickaxe, because if you click too quickly you actually limit the speed of your slashes, making you easier to get ganked.

Hopefully there will be an update that makes swords point in the direction of your mouse, like guns do.

That would be awesome. Bombs need it as well.

Broadswords should remain as they are though.
