Why? Because Capcom are a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥bags who still think GFWL is a good thing and GFWL won't let you buy games outside of it "supported countries".

IMO region restrictions are like saying "please pirate our game because we don't give a damn about your stupid non-USA/UK/etc country and don't want your money".

Mr. Moderator if you are kind enough please let me know exactly who do I need to send a strongly worded letter so I can legally get my games from steam.

if there's no one who can help, you can always turn to those trusty torrent/rapidshare/megashare/ultramegadeliciouslyepicshare sites who I'm sure won't turn you down because you are not from some specific country.

Get someone to gift it to you, get in on a group buy or learn to use a proxy or a VPN.

As well as some of Capcom's games like SF4, Dead Rising 2 but Resident Evil 5 is available here.

Also I can't buy another game (Not by Capcom), DiRT 3... It also uses GFWL.

How much is the game (in whatever currency) anyway? I also can't see it on Steam (Serbia) but I'd like to compare price between Steam and local retailers (who'd probably go for a 50eur cash grab)
This really sucks from Capcom's side, using a system that prevents huge amount of players from enjoying the game. And then they'll blame pirates...

i realy feel sory for people who live in counrtrys that gfwl dont support! so you guys you must buy for D2D or retail. I live in Greece and it is supported by gfwl but i still prefer buying games retail so i will get it retail. so calm down and preorder the game from d2d or buy it retail.

ok, tip for people in Czech Republic, I found this RETAIL version, also accessible from July.

Its 34.75 $ compared to 57$ on steam.
