cant find gmod folder

ive looked everywhere and i cant find my garrys mod folder. i can run the game but i cant find my local folder. if it helps at all i have it installed on a separate disk than my c drive

why dont you do a file search for garrysmod or for HL2.exe

Usually its in (installed drive letter):\Steam\steamapps\(your username)\garrysmod, it seems that Nekomancer misled you probably by accident.

If you can not find something always do a file search.

\Steam\steamapps\common\ is not where Gmod gets installed.
