Modding Going Way Too Far?????

So I was playing online yesterday, and this abusive modder comes in my game and changes his name to Server_Admin. So being the idiot that he is, he says a voice command saying SHUTTING DOWN SERVER, and my Xbox freezes. He did it over four more times after I made my own server once again. So I decided to send a message to all recent players saying to report the modder. The modder thought that I couldn't tell who it was, but I could tell it was him because he was the last player who joined my game. But somehow he finds out that I was sending the messages to people and starts threatening me saying that he is going to glitch up my controller so I can't play TF2 anymore. So I back off.... I don't know if he's going to do it, but it really made me angry.

I don't mind people modding in their own servers, but when they come in other peoples servers and screw with their Xbox, that is going WAAAYYY too far.

Yeah man that is way too far, When I modded I was for the people. You were probably dealing with the mighty chooch that got banned from these forums countless times. He can bind stuff to your controller but that is easy to fix, just reset you controller settings. These people need to be stopped, Call microsoft and get him banned.

It must be that KillZombie, unless he spread the word.

Your best shot is to stay away from him.

He is full of ♥♥♥♥, he cannot "glitch" your controller for all I know. What he can do is change your controller settings, but you can go to the options menu and change them back or simply reset your Xbox.

Stick to joining servers until this dip♥♥♥♥ entertains himself with something else.

I prefer not to give out his name, since he may be on these forums. But I can tell you guys that TheKillZombie and xx Chilldude xx were neither the ones who threatened me.

Holy crap, modders can shut down games that other people are hosting?? :-O I didn't realise that, I thought they could only tamper with servers they're hosting themselves! This is not good news, getting a griefer or ragequitters in your game is already bad enough, I really don't want to have to deal with hackers.

I know its not TheKillZombie or Chilldude. They do not mod abusively. he passes on mods to other people and binds voice commands into another persons controller to be nice and to expand the modding community. Buts its obviously coming from one of their mods.. Maybe UnrealSkybox too? He is a modder i'm not sure if he passes on though. And he sometimes kills people randomly and spawns like HL2 explosive barrels

I have seen this happen and I think you should report this to Valve, I know they don't gave a crap about modders But this is a real game breaking mod. Valve will be forced to fix this if it gets out of hand.

Okay, since I'm pretty sure that the modder is not on this forum, I will say his name. I've been asking around lately, and it turns out that other people have been victim to this persons abusive modding.

I am The Kill Zombie and everything that you are complaining about is irrelevant if you don't like the mods that give out people then don't join their games.

The mods that I give out are only temporary and vanish after the people that I give them to turn their xbox off.

Fluffy Mr. Kitty will not be getting crash mods anymore so you don't have to worry about him anymore.

However I will still be giving them out to my friends.

Reasons why your server will be crashed is simple....if we crash your server then you are/were abusing class limits. All engineer and sniper games will be crashed. Turning off one class is fine anymore than that=crashed.

Why do I give people crash mods? Because after the stupid update we got July 2009 that allows people not just to limit but completely turn off classes all together and allow people to be classes after they were turned off only by choosing the class prior to. I have seen all engineer games with the host as a spy yet no one else could be a spy.

Since Valve won't correct their mistake I will, thus the why I made that mod in the first place.

If you don't like mods that I give out to people that allow them to create their own modded servers or you don't like my servers then don't join them..if you accidentally join them then leave as soon as you see mods. DUHHH.

Now the last of the complaints:

Because you:

Have a screwed up mic

Are a child (Yes TF2 is rated MA however the other games are not so you can play those. When you are 17yrs old come back and play with us. I am doing everyone a favor by crashing children as they are the number one reason that adults quit the game entirely)

Are annoying

Are a Spy Crab(supposedly endangered yet I see more and more of them, obviously should be removed from the endangered species list)

Joining my games too often(My games are not always for playing, sometimes they are for people to come in get mods via voice commands or full mods and then leave to allow others the same opportunity to join my games)

My mods have no way to "PATCH" this time that can stop it. I will not release how to do the mods publicly so Valve and MSoft have no idea how I am doing them in the first place.

I won't be banned either as I use many different gamertag accounts.

If you are looking for my games however they are new and different much better than any other games you will find.
How to find my games will be tricky as I use random gamertags so you will just have to keep looking.

Now you whiners can stop complaining and go back to your lives and to the mods of this forum delete this post and every other post related to it so that we can prevent this in the future.

...Or you could be a courteous person and just send them a message about it. Just a thought. I doubt game crashes correlate to bad mics in the normal person's mind. If you can afford multiple Gamertags with XBL Gold, you have the money to get a keypad if you really think it takes too long typing via standard controller,

If someone's using silly mods, there's no point in trying to straighten anybody out. Legit game, sure, get rid of the spy crabs, but at least ask them to play for real first.

Again, if it's not a legit game, it shouldn't really matter what other players are doing, as long as they're not using your mods against you. Better to spycrab in a mod-trading server than an actual CP game.

EDIT: You know, I would say that the only people who should be punished (maybe not by crashing their games, but maybe a temporary control swap or something) are class limit abusers, and skywalkers/tunnelers. If an engie glitched himself under the map outside BLU spawn on Gravel Pt, whether he's on your team or not, force him to respawn as a Medic with only a bonesaw. But if you're playing with a 14 year old who's not a dink] and is contributing to the team, don't be a d-bag and crash his Xbox.

Usually the one who has it doesn't even realize it, I just ask them to disconnect/connect their mic and if it that hasn't been done or didn't work, then I ask them again. Muting is my last resort and I usually do that when I think someone is deliberately playing loud noise through their mic.

This bothers me not. Xbox live is for everyone regardless the age. I have seen more teens and adults playing more immaturly than youngsters.

Some spies just act like one, but aren't really one.
Spycrabs are a peaceful species, but if you invade their territory or attack/kill them they will get back to you.

But that doesn't mean that there aren't any other people that know how. I am not sure how this relates to crashing someone's system. To me this is just a statement and not a reason for your action.

Yes, you already mentioned that you use many different gamertags and I have noticed them too when I do a quick search. Are your servers new and better? If you ask me, then I'd say no, but that's totally my opinion. Different? Yes, but better, well you still have something to strife for.

If you don't like class restricted servers then don't join them. If you accidentally join them then leave as soon as you notice the limits.

I hate little kids, micspammers, one-class servers etc too, but just mute them or give them negative feedback instead of going on a power trip.
