Question Crysis 2 requirements but with DX11?

I don't know...

Well all know the normal requirements of Crysis 2:

Operating system: Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, with the latest Service Pack
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo at 2Ghz, or AMD Athlon 64 x2 2Ghz, or better
Memory: 2Gb (Vista requires 3Gb)
Hard disk space: 9Gb
Video: NVidia 8800GT with 512Mb RAM, ATI 3850HD with 512Mb RAM, or better
Sound: DirectX Compatible Sound Card
DirectX®: 9.0c
Controller support? Microsoft Xbox360 Controller for Windows
Any special multiplayer requirements? Internet Connection Required
Internet connection also required for a one-time authorization when the game installed/first run.

This is the minimum requirements... we dont know the recommended requiriments. Never advertised.

For my to play in max:

Intel Cuad Core or similar for AMD ussers
2 or more GB RAM
GeForce GTX 560 or similar for AMD users

This for play in max...

Now. With the coming DX11 patch. How many requirements would you think that the game will need for play in DX11 At MAX?

In my opinion I think:

Intel core i3 or i5(i7 better)
3 GB RAM (4GB or more better)
Nvidia GTX 480 or 570 GTX (580 GTX or better/ for better speed FRAPS a GTX 590)

For AMD users similar of all of this.

This is my opinion.

Now in your opinion how many requiriments will the game will need for play in DX11?

Sorry for my bad english...

Think you just listed specs for bf3. Cramming in dx11 after the fact is completely different than building from the ground up using it.

methinks as long as you have a dx11 card, you're good.

Yea i have a DX11 card but I'm thinking the requirements of the next games with DX11...

And BF3 yea this game looks awesome. Maybe i will buy it but i dont know.

I'm traying to say: Is a really good idea buy a GTX 560/570/580(same for AMD users) for the games of today?

Because all the games that supports DX11 of curse will need a hard core PC.

Like:

Metro 2033
Dirt 2
Lost Planet 2
etc

But for the next generations games?

I think the GTX 570 and 580 are like the Beta for the real DX11 card. And the GTX 590 is the real card that support DX11.

This is why i think Crysis 2 will need a GTX 590 or maybe a GTX 580(same for AMD users) and more hard core proccesor, etc

Based on my research and testing the DX11 patch I have came to a conclusion on how the system requirements should look.

OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Ram: 4GB DDR3
Video: GTX 560 (non-ti), Radeon 6870, 1GB VRAM
Processor: Intel Core i5-2400, AMD Phenom X6

Using the following video cards should lock you in at about 30-40FPS and that's totally maxed out.

So people worrying about having to buy a GTX 580 you can stop holding your breath. Crytek managed to keep the game optimized to run on mid-ranged video cards. Even the first DX11 cards out can handle this game. I run on a GTX 460, that is slightly overclocked, and get almost solid 35FPS.

Crytek said that DX11 at max is ~30% more demanding than DX9 on max.
