Magicka - Demo wont start

Hello, I downloaded the Magicka demo to see if i liked it, but when i try to start it up all that happens is it says it's preparing to launch then switches me to the Magicka store page on steam. I verified the integrity of the game cache and i have all the files. I googled it and couldn't find anything, except that an error will show up in D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\magicka demo, and i DO have an error report there. This is what it says:

My specs are
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.60GHz (2 CPUs)
RAM: 1534MB
Graphics: Diamond S120 256MB DDR Radeon 9550
DirectX: 9.0c

Im on XP btw if thats important.

Help anyone?

Google is your friend, well, maybe not in this case.

I'm sorry, but your graphic card, Radeon 9550, doesn't support pixel shader 3. One among other things making Magicka's minimum required graphics "in line with Radeon X1900 or better".

There's no workaround for this, you need a better graphic card.

Can't help getting all warm and a feeling there's hope for human kind after all. +1 for Hunter.
